FPV Initiator is designed as a turnkey, classroom-ready program that’s ideal for grades 8–12 (or middle/high crossover). It combines hardware, software, curriculum, and teacher support into one cohesive solution.
At its core, the program uses SkyDive, a full-featured FPV simulator where students can crash, recover, and practice in a risk-free environment before ever touching a drone. This builds muscle memory and confidence.
The curriculum consists of 12 modules, each about 90 minutes long, covering topics such as flight safety, navigation, obstacle racing, drone repair, and competitive strategy. Students progress from beginner to advanced maneuvers, developing precision, coordination, and problem-solving.
Educators benefit from a complete support system: coach’s playbook, pilot handbooks, unlimited Zoom PD, and access to the Drone Legends Educator Portal (DLEP).
