Uncover Ancient Mysteries Through Drone Coding
In the Egypt Expedition Experience – Digital Version, learners are tasked with unraveling a long-lost explorer’s mystery through eight missions that combine coding, spatial reasoning, and real-world math and science principles. Students switch between first-person and third-person drone views, chart paths, control altitude, and plot routes using drag-and-drop block code.
No prior experience is required. Teachers launch the program instantly through the Drone Legends Educator Portal (DLEP), where all lessons, mission guides, and assessments are pre-loaded. Because it’s fully browser-based (Chrome or Safari), classroom setup is minimal—no installations, no hardware logistics.
Each mission builds both content knowledge and computational thinking. As students progress, they use math, measurement, geometry, and logic to solve flight challenges, decode puzzles, and navigate complex landscapes. Embedded in narrative, the experience deepens engagement and ensures cross-disciplinary connections to ELA, social studies, and STEM.
Because it’s purely digital, the Egypt Expedition works in any classroom, lab, or distance setting. Scale it across devices—students can go solo or collaborate in pairs. Use the Egypt Expedition Experience – Digital Version as a bridge to physical drone lessons or as stand-alone enrichment.
