Labdisc Xploris kit empowers children (K–5) with hands-on STEAM learning—bringing technology, science, and art together in one portable device. It features five built-in sensors—temperature, light, sound, distance, and voltage—that are ready to use right out of the box and require no external setup or calibration.
Paired with the XploriLab software, students move seamlessly between science experiments, digital art, coding in both Blockly and Python, and automation. The device also includes a 16×16 LED pixel grid, enabling pixel art creation—like animating a flower that responds to sunlight—or even writing code to control motors and outputs using “if-then” logic.
Xploris also features 2 engine controls, 2 voltage outputs, and 2 on/off controls, giving students real-world experience automating systems like controlling greenhouse conditions based on sensor readings. Its versatility introduces STEM concepts in a memorable, interactive way, promoting creativity and problem-solving across multiple disciplines.
With up to 150 hours of battery life (screen off) and 8 hours while in use, along with USB and Bluetooth connectivity, the device is designed for active classroom use. A Starter Plan license for K–12 STEAM curriculum and 2 hours of online training are included with purchase.
